Rila Lakes

"Babreka lake" by Joro

The seven lakes of Rila are well known and popular destination. Extremely beautiful and easily accessible, they attract many tourists.

There are two chalets nearby: "Rilski ezera chalet" and "The Seven Lakes chalet". Don't worry about reservations - the chalets are stuffed full during the summer, but no hiker has been left outside for the night.


Getting there :
Sofia → Dupnitsa → local bus → Zeleni Preslap area → 2,5 h walking → Riksli Ezera chalet → The lakes
